Salary: £14.27 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant / Technician for a 2 year contract based in a refinery in Swansea.
Main duties & responsibilities will include:
· Processing and analysis of processed material
· Operate laboratory equipment according to established procedures
· Logging results manually and on a computer
· Taking and recording samples
· Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
· Familiarity with job method statements & risk analysis
· Weekly progress meetings
This is a 2 year contract working on a dayshift rota. A laboratory / chemistry background is desirable, and strong reporting, IT and practical skills with a good eye for detail are essential.
