Job Title: Laboratory Assistant
Salary: £26,000per yearpro rata
Location: Elstree
Contract: Perm, Part Time – 15 – 22.5 hour week

The Job
• To provide administrative support
The Person
• Previous and current experience within Laboratories and Workshops is essential
• Familiarity with mechanical fitting and pressure fittings as well as use of machine tools would be highly advantageous
• Alternatively, experience working within chemical synthesis laboratories would be welcomed
• Hands on experience particularly in the Mechanical area ideally with experience of Swagelok and pipe bending (highly beneficial)
• Degree or equivalent within related subject e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering etc.
• Hands-on, team player
• Good communication skills on all levels (written and verbal)
