Global Chemicals organisation based in Berkshire currently seeks a temporary Laboratory Assistant.
Working to strict deadlines within a busy laboratory environment; the successful candidate will be supporting the operational team by preparing fluids and rock core samples. Other duties will include, managing the teams sample inventory including the receipt of samples, assisting with planning the experimental workflow depending on instrument and sample availability, assuring samples and worksheets are transferred to the Analytical Lab for analysis. The successful applicant will also be actively involved in the continuous improvement of the sample workflow
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working safely and with Good Laboratory Practice in a chemical laboratory environment, possess good communication skills, be well organised and demonstrated capability to deliver consistent reliable operations.
