Lab Technician

Lab Technician Required For Leading Packaging Company – Evesham Based (WR11) – Competitive Rate of Pay – Immediate Start – Temporary On-going Contract

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lab Technician to join the world’s largest packaging company. In this role you will be ensuring quality is promoted both internally and externally and that standards and customer requirements are met.

About The Role

As Lab Technician your day to day role will consist of:-
• Real time quality testing requirements.
• QC of production orders.
• Completion of internal and external reject notifications – Communication to customer services
• Releasing of cured materials and supporting production plan
• Overseeing and supporting print, lamination start-up procedures on critical designs
• OE walks to ensure robust procedures are in place
• Support tool for BST system
• Communicate details of complaints to operating teams, corrective actions and that corrective actions are implemented and maintained
• Management of retained samples and collation for non-conformances
• Responsibility for the calibration of quality testing equipment

This role will be Monday to Friday over a 40 hour week.

There will be a competitive rate of pay on offer which is £26,000per year, but will be dependent on experience.

About You

• Ideally you will have experience within a manufacturing background preferred, with knowledge of the printing, lamination and slitting processes.
• Ability to investigate, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Experience of root cause analysis / quality tools and techniques
• Competent in QC sample analysis and laboratory testing
