Lab Technician – Polymers

Salary: £31,200 – £34,800 per year

My client is a manufacturer of polymer coated products for regulated industries, based near Atherton, Greater Manchester and looking to hire a Lab Technician with a Materials (polymers) Testing background.

You will be:

* Taking product samples and conducting raw material testing of various polymers

* Testing polmyer performance in a laboratory environment using DSC / CGA and reporting

* Managing your own workload and working autonomously to manage testing requirements.

* Conducting various tests such as loads, bending, temperature, fire, UV, testing, electrical testing, etc, etc

You will need to work accurately, documenting to an excellent standard whilst following methods and being able to think for yourself, problem solve and work independently (when required).
