Junior Quantity Surveyor

A Junior Quantity Surveyor role is available with a well-established mid-sized construction contractor based in Greater London (Surrey). This is a great opportunity for a Junior Surveyor, with a year or two’s experience to join a company that is willing to support your development and training.

The company work on a wide variety of projects across the capital, dealing with Civil & RC Frame projects. As a Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working from both the office based in Surrey (near Sutton) and out on site, due to the travel, a full UK Driving Licence is Essential.

In the day to day of the role, the Junior Surveyor will be working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyors and Estimators, helping to produce accurate figures for tenders and projects, so good communication skills and adaptability is required.

Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
– Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
– Minimum of 1-2 years experience post-study in the construction industry
– A keen interest in Quantity Surveying and the commercial aspects of construction
– Based locally to South London, Surrey or Middlesex (Office is near Sutton, Surrey)
– Full UK Driving Licence

Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Package:
A basic salary circa £28,800 – £36,000(depending on how much experience you have already)
