Location: Sheffield
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 (negotiated on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday – 09:00 – 17:00
My client is a progressive and expanding company which operates in the construction sector, they supply concrete and masonry products into clients on various projects and have developed a reputation for technical excellence, project delivery and quality of service. We are currently looking to recruit a Junior CAD Technician to join the Structural Design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a University/College leaver or for a Trainee CAD Technician to progress their career.
You’ll be reporting directly to the Senior CAD technician and offered full training and ongoing support whilst in the role.
Duties:
- Drawing production based upon mark-ups and guidance from the engineering team
- Ensuring drawings meet company/client standards
- Providing technical administration support to the team
- Document Control and Management (with guidance from the team)
- Working alongside the Senior CAD Technician
Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience using AutoCAD is a necessity
- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Competent IT skills
- Good standard of numerical literacy
- Good communication skills
- Excellent team worker
- Ability to manage own workload
