Cost Accountant / Inventory Accountant

The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:

the role is essentially looking for someone with experience of getting more money out of assets, reducing stock levels and monitoring progress and reporting back. Would suit candidates with factory based cost accounting experience, materials management or supply chain experience

Must be at least a part qualified accountant

Role Requirements –

Work with team across multiple locations
Work with Global teams to develop/deliver best practice
Working Capital management
Streamlining of working capital monitoring & reporting
Monitoring of capital locally controlled accounts, including but not limited to: Work in progress, raw materials & finished goods
SAP/BI reporting

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Net working capital experience
Prior use of SAP
Minimum of 4 years experience in a business role
Advanced Excel skills
Full UK drivers license

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of working in a global business
Ability to liaise with all levels of the organization
Qualified to a degree level – Finance or Mathematics
