IT Trainer / Assessor

We are currently looking to recruit on either a full time or part time basis an IT Trainer and Assessor (BTEC L3 Apprenticeships in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals) to work for a College based in Manchester.
The main responsibility of this role is to assess learners throughout there IT Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships programmes, both in the training environment and in the work place across the Manchester region. This will involve delivering on assessment days, marking assessment work, monitoring apprentice progress against set criteria and ensuring that apprentices are on track with their assessment plan.
Essential requirements:
• TAQA/A1/D32/D33 Assessor qualification
• Strong technical background in at least one of the following:
o Computer Hardware & Networking
o Programming
o Web Development
o Multimedia Technologies
• CTTLLS or PTTLS qualification or be willing to work towards.
• Enhanced CRB check – the cost of the CRB check is covered by the company
• Previous experience of delivering IT Professional Apprenticeships, e.g., BTEC L3 Apprenticeships in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals
Desirable requirements:
• Internal Verification (IV) qualification, e.g., V1
• A degree (or equivalent) in IT
• CompTIA A+ and MCITP/MCDST qualifications
