Automotive Technical Trainer/Assessor: The essentials.
– Assessor qualification (A1, D32, TAQA)- Teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd)- A relevant Automotive Maintenance & Repair qualification- Literacy & Numeracy qualifications (at Level 2 or above)- Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes- Excellent communication skills- Outstanding time management skills with the ability to manage own diary- Flexibility- Sound understanding of paper based assessment systems- Full UK driving licence and use of own car
Automotive Technical Trainer/Assessor: Your experience.
– Ability to connect with, inspire and mentor learners- Good current technical knowledge- Competent in diagnostics- Occupational history and competence within the industry- Minimum 12 months assessing experience- Experience in a similar role- A proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets
Automotive Technical Trainer/Assessor: The desirables.
– Qualified and/or occupationally competent to deliver both LV & HV Maintenance and Repair- Internal Verification qualification- Experience in Bus & Coach technical training

– This is a centre based role at an all purpose academy in Wolverhampton and is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well established commercial business and help to assist in the growth of the training and apprenticeship provision. You will be an experienced trainer in the delivery of Light & Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and looking for the next step in your career; working alongside Senior Management to help develop training programs and apprenticeship framework, whilst delivering excellent training and assessment of Automotive qualifications.- £28k-£30k (depending upon qualifications & experience)- 22 days holiday p/a + 8 statutory days- Company pension- Healthcare and life cover- Mobile phone & laptop- A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to commencement of role is required.
