IT Support Engineer – (Education) – Hertfordshire
Full time, permanent contract, 37 hours per week
Starting salary £37,200 – £43,200p.a.
Based in Hertfordshire
We are seeking an IT Support Engineer who has a real enthusiasm for all IT and how it can enhance children’s performance.
Being part of a team and the exciting prospect of working with over 500 schools each of which has a different approach to their IT solutions. You will enable schools to maximise value from their ICT investment to improve pupils’ outcomes and attainment by providing high quality technical guidance, support and advice. You will possess excellent communication and ICT skills with the ability to coach others. You will have a good understanding of Microsoft Networks, Windows Servers, Virtualisation, Cloud Solutions, Wireless technologies along with ICT procurement and project management skills.
Ideally you will have experience of managing, supporting and commissioning a school network, eg Microsoft Server 2008/12, RM’s Community Connect, etc. Whilst they will consider those who do not have all the necessary experience, preference will be given to those who do.
You must have a full driving licence as travelling around Hertfordshire is required.
