IT Support Engineer – 1st/2nd Line – Farnborough – £20,000-£25,000
My client is a bespoke software provider that has clients based all over the globe. They are now activity looking to recruit a 1st Line / 2nd Line Support Technician to join their expanding team. This role is for somebody who has a lot of technical knowledge in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. The successful candidate would be working in a fast paced environment providing technical support via the telephone and emails technologies include of Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista and Server 2000-2008), Exchange, Active Directory and basic networking.
Essential skills:
* Active Directory
* Microsoft Exchange
* Windows platforms
* Logging all calls in CRM system
* Creating/updating cases in the CRM system, from all calls that you take
* Troubleshooting bespoke software
* Collecting information regarding customer problems to aid in troubleshooting
* Remote assistance for customers when required
* Telephone/email support
* Customer service
