IT Service Engineer (Field Based)

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your role will be to pro-actively ensure that all clients have continual exceptional operational service and that all support is performed with minimal business impact on the customer within agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

FIELD SERVICE:
Provide resource for on-site hardware and software installations, migrations, integrations or general maintenance. Carry out on-site management and pre-emptive maintenance routines.

CALL CENTRE:
Log and prioritise incoming faults and queries on behalf of the Company for its contracted customer base in accordance with the corresponding SLA.
Manage customer enquiries regarding update requests or current status of existing calls.

DESK BASED SERVICE SUPPORT:
Provide 2nd & 3rd line support to the Company’s client base within the following areas:
Operating Systems and layered products
IT Hardware (Servers, PC’s, Laptops, Printers etc…)
Third party software packages based upon the organizations product portfolio.
Networks, Voice and Data Communications
Management Reporting and Data Integration tools
Track warranty expiry and renewal of service quotes and agreements.
Despatch and track deliveries to customer or supplier locations.

The successful candidate will be happy to travel extensively, have great organisational and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective product
You will need a good working knowledge of Microsoft products as well as experience of a variety of Information systems and databases.
