Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

Accountable to: CEO & Directors

Accountable for: HR & Operational functions of the business

We are currently recruiting a competent Operations Manager to work from our Head Office, supporting and guiding the service managers, and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to- day business functions, which is a semi-independent facility for young people.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Operations, and ideally have experience in the care industry, in particular semi-independent services. You will be passionate about helping young people achieve outcomes and be committed to delivering a high-quality service.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

·To offer support, develop and identify what training is required for the service managers / deputy managers CPD and with managing and maintaining staff, providing adequate support to young people and any other issues or queries that may arise, including regular meetings with them, holding monthly supervisions and bi-monthly team meetings. Ensuring there is a good working relationship between the service managers and their support staff and between the staff at he services and Head Office staff.

·To oversee Head office departments (HR, Maintenance and referrals) and support the head office team

·To ensure all policies, procedures and other organisational paperwork are regularly reviewed, up to date and in line with relevant legislation and current standards

·To plan and implement the development of the Outreach department by setting up structures for the rota of the shifts, staff supervisions, monitoring visits at the stand alone flats, maintenance issues etc.

Essential skills/experience:

·Have at least 3 year’s experience in a service manager/area manager or operations role (preferably in the care industry)

· Must have experience managing managers

· Must have experience with multi-site management

·Excellent written and spoken English

·Clear DBS

·A passion for working with young people
