Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
IT Infrastructure Engineer
A Software company in Slough is seeking a seeking a IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT Team responsible the internal IT Infrastructure and hosted services for their customers.
This is a varied role were as part of a small team you will work with a broad range of technologies one exciting new projects and BAU Support.
Projects that are already in the pipeline include replacing the Core network infrastructure in the Head Office and Data Centres as well as migrating to Office 365.
The Role
* Administration, Support and development of the internal IT Infrastructure such as;
* Microsoft Windows Enterprise Products
* Linux Servers
* Virtualisation
* Networking
* SAN storage
* Security
* Backup
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an enterprise IT Infrastructure environment or a hosting company delivering service to Enterprise company.
The successful IT Infrastructure Engineer will have experience of:
* SAN Storage
* VMware
* Linux ( ideally CentOS )
* Firewall experience
It would be beneficial to have experience of;
* Active Directory
* Office 365
* Microsoft Azure
* SQL Server
* Networking
* Backup ie, Veeam
* Monitoring ie, Solarwinds
* MCSE, CCNA, ITIL or VCP
This IT Infrastructure Engineer role is paying £30-£35k depending on experience with benefits including Pension, Health and 25 days holiday etc.
