Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

A rapidly growing and global supply chain management company are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Leeds. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the company’s daily IT operations and ensuring that infrastructure performs efficiently and is secure.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of solid 2nd and 3rd Line Support, including an in-depth knowledge of server hardware, networking and delivering projects. In this role, you will be encouraged to work closely with the current team whilst taking ownership of issues and use initiative whilst working effectively under pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

Managing and maintaining Servers, Networks and Core Infrastructure
Supporting infrastructure growth projects
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site and for customers
Server and 365 migrations

Skill Requirements:

5 years’ experience in an Infrastructure or Technical Support role
Windows Servers and Operating systems
Networking knowledge – CISCO, routers, switches
Firewalls
VMware
Microsoft Office 365
Customer-focussed, ability to liaise with people at all levels

Desirable Skills:

Cloud experience (Azure, AWS)
Scripting skills (Powershell)
ISO 27001 environment.
