Fixed Term Contract, 9 month maternity cover (with a possible extension up to 12 months)

Salary: £34,800 – £43,200per annum (pro rata) dependent upon experience

Our clients’ Strategy and Investment Team within the Assets and Regeneration Department is responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting on the delivery and performance of the various investment projects. With our clients’ increasing performance, installation of a condition data management system (Keystone), meeting expenditure targets, five year plan and installation of a Framework to procure programmed works, they are looking to continue this progress with a dynamic forward thinking person.
Playing a vital role behind the scenes, the role involves working with project managers, senior management and key external stakeholders, taking responsibility for monitoring and reporting on all departmental budgets including External Redecoration Programmes, Hidden Homes and Regeneration, HRA Planned Maintenance and Responsive and Capital Investment Programme including projects planning and procurement, monitoring expenditure, financial and non-financial performance, budget management, identification and monitoring programme risks.
The successful candidate will also take responsibility for management of the financial aspects of the framework, including monitoring the financial outputs, collecting and reporting KPIs and monthly PIs, auditing, providing statistical analysis, monitoring risk mitigation, validation of completion returns from the framework contractors and leading on the Working Group for Finance, Risk, and Compliance & Audit.
The ideal candidate will have a strong IT, analytical and financial management skills which will be matched by their experience in budgetary planning, management, control and costing.
Excellent time management skills and ability work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines and targets with limited supervision are vital.
