Internal Sales Executive

Salary: £27,600 – £33,600 per year

Internal Sales Representative required

Our client is looking for an experienced, dynamic person to join their team, due to ongoing success, new products and profitable business wins.

They are a well-established engineering company with a great reputation. 

Focus will be to develop and build their client base, working alongside an experienced team. This role is office based with support You will be working with a vibrant and friendly sales team.

Is envisaged that the successful person will have a proven background in a Sales, Telesales, with an interest in engineering, able to priorities tasks, be self-motivated and happy to learn on the job.

Internal Sales – Position Overview

• Communicating with customers daily.

• Rotate part week with other functions and departments to expand knowledge and skills

• Understanding the customers’ requirements and identify sales opportunities.

• Support customers credit application and project creation in our internal systems

• Coordinate communication with customers regarding progress with orders, products & equipment

• Work collaboratively with the customer and internal departments to coordinate required work for projects

• Creating quotations, dealing with any sales enquiries, making regular follow up calls to existing and new customers.

• Develop and maintain customer base. Visit key customers with Key Account Manager/Sales Engineers and Sales Manager

Internal Sales – Position Requirements

• A proven background in Sales, Telesales, and/or Engineering.

• Good knowledge of the Engineering.

• Comfortable liaising with customers and clients via telephone and email.

• Confident telephone manner.

• A positive can-do attitude.

• Solid organising skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• Office based but potential to develop into role visiting customers

• Based within a commutable distance of Blackburn.

• Driving license

Training will be provided in the absence of any knowledgeable skills.

Internal Sales – Position Remuneration

• Salary £27,600 – £33,600 (Dependant on experience) + target achieving Bonus

• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5:00pm

• 20 days annual holiday + 8 days statutory

• Pension scheme
