Interim Group Head of Financial Reporting

Salary: £540 – £720 per day

Elevation are delighted to be working with a large services business in Leeds. This is a fantastic, senior opportunity for an experienced, qualified finance leader to take on a role as Interim Group Head of External Reporting.

This is a 9 month FTC PLUS BENEFITS. They can also accept a ltd company day rate (invoicing client directly) of £540 – £720per day INSIDE IR35. Salary and day rate discussed will be dependant on experience.

Brief account of role:

– Management of Financial Reporting team
– Review and improve reporting from team:
– Acquisition reporting
– Consolidated Group Financial Statement for Year end
– Q3 and Q1 reporting
– Investor reporting
– Responsible for Group Statutory Accounts and management of Year end process
– Prepare Quarterly and annual Financial Statement
– Manage relationships with auditors
– Business partner with key stakeholders across business
– Strategic leadership around systems improvement

Ideal candidate:

– Proven track record in financial reporting/financial controllership role (essential)
– Expertise in International Accounting Standards (essential)
– Full Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
– Experience in leading a team of reporting accountants (essential)
– Relevant industry experience or experience of working in a multi territory/currency environment (desirable)
– Working knowledge of Tax (desirable)
– Working knowledge of Secretarial requirements (desirable)
