Interim Financial Controller / Financial Projects Specialist

As part of the project to deliver integration, we are now keen to speak to an experienced interim finance manager with the ability to support integration and harmonization from an SDI perspective.

The role will be in direct support of the SDI Group Financial Controller taking on some of the responsibilities in particular regarding the integration process and management reporting, but then also to support the adoption of Dematic financial policies and procedures and new initiatives being launched in the finance work stream.

Key tasks for the new position include from my perspective:
• Support the CFO in integration of the SDI group into Dematic
• Analyze existing processes and compare to-be processes
• Drive and oversee process changes (closing cycle, new reporting & controlling tools)

To be successful in this critical role to support integration, you will be an experienced qualified finance manager with a track record of delivering finance projects ideally within an integration workstream (for a US owned group). You will certainly have substantial experience of:
• IFRS,
• US GAAP
• SAP implementation experience (Finance, but also general master data requirements)
• German language would be of benefit also

Location:
• The role will be based at SDI office Royston, Hertfordshire, however substantial travel to Hinckley (Leicestershire) and Banbury would also be required.
