Installation Electrician

Salary: £36,000 – £39,600 per year

I am looking for an Installation Electrician for one of my expanding industrial electrical and control panel building clients in the Midlands- due to the growth of work, and the desire to expand their electrical installation work too.

The Installation Electrician will:

* Install new power, lighting, CCTV, emergency lighting circuits, switchboards into factories, warehouses, but especially water pumping station buildings. Sometimes decommissioning old/unsafe circuitry and installing new, sometimes assisting in the installation of new electrical control panels onto these sites, and certainly installing the incoming power/ connections to them.

* The work will be a mix of Midlands and other work across the UK, and you’ll need to be able to stay away from home when these remote installations need to be done, but you’ll get notice of when these will be happening.

* Midlands will be a good location- Rugby, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester for example would be ideal. This will enable you to work in the office when you are not on site, attend planning meetings for the projects etc.

* Ideally, you will be an industrial or commercial experienced electrician, 18th edition, ECS gold card holder. If the person also had 2391 2394 or 2395 inspection and test certification it would be a bonus.

* Salary: £36,000 – £39,600 plus time and a half overtime, company vehicle, expenses, holidays, pension. The installation electricians have been earning quite well from overtime, but it’s a solid and growing company too.
