Electrical Installation Tutor

Salary: £40,800 – £45,600 per year

I have an extremely exciting vacancy for an Electrical Tutor here at a training centre based in the Staffordshrie reigon. This will suit a qualified electrician looking to progress into a teaching role or an experienced tutor. This is a rewarding role in helping our apprentice electricians on their first steps towards becoming electricians.

• You will work with our team of qualified electricians/Electrical Tutors to provide theoretical and practical training.
• Excellent support will be provided and nationally recognised teaching and assessing qualifications will be fully funded if required.

Tutor requirements:

• Practising Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience
• NVQ 3 qualified or Apprenticeship trained
• A team player with a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills

The Electrical Tutor salary is based on a 39-hour week. One evening per week is required during term times, which will be paid overtime or taken as time in lieu.

As the position will include working with children (16-18 year olds), applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening. This will include checks with past employers and enhanced checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
