Job Description
Role: Infrastructure & Cloud Engineers
Location: Fully remote
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Oncall + Benefits
The position:
- To support and develop a reliable, resilient infrastructure to meet current and future business needs
- Delivering IT Infrastructure Services and Support
- Work with other members of the IT team, 3rd parties and suppliers to deliver an excellent IT experience for our business
You will be responsible for:
- Providing 3rd Line support and management across the infrastructure
- Incident management and service request delivery in line with IT department SLAs
- Responding to alerts generated from infrastructure monitoring and security tools, and resolution within SLA
- Infrastructure support covering Servers, EUC, Networking, Telephony and Security systems
- Supporting a multi site environment including associated infrastructure
- 3rd line Microsoft 365 support, covering the full suite of M365 including Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune), AAD, Exchange Online, Teams
- Day to day support and administration of MS Azure
- 2nd line Networking support and administration
- Problem management, including root cause analysis and pro-active identification of infrastructure risks and issues
Skills required:
- Proven experience to L3 on Microsoft Server/Desktop Operating Systems – Essential
- Knowledge and experience of Networking fundamentals (subnetting, WAN, LAN, L1 L2 and L3 routing and switching) – Essential
- 3rd line experience of managing and maintaining Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/GPO Administration – Essential
- Advanced knowledge and experience supporting O365 – Essential
- Knowledge and experience of Azure – Essential
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Hypervisor technologies VMWare, HyperV – Essential
- Practical experience supporting and maintaining Server Hardware (Dell, HP) – Essential
- L3 experience supporting servers, storage, networking and security – Essential
- Strong communication skills, written and oral – Essential
