Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year

The Kents Hill Infant Academy in South Benfleet Essex is seeking to appoint an exceptional and experienced Office and Finance Manager to replace the current person that is retiring at the end of the term. Any applicants must have an excellent working knowledge of FMS and SIMS packages, together with excellent secretarial-administration skills.
This role requires the succesful applicant to work 35 hours per week for 41 weeks per year.
The main areas of responsibility will be:
• Acting as PA to the Head Teacher
• Management of school finances including preparing and monitoring the schools
budget
• Operating and maintaining the administrative and financial procedures systems in the Academy
• Working closely with accountants and auditors in the preparation of Academy Accounts
• Preparing reports for Governors
• Administration of personnel matters relating to staff
• Line Manager to all Admin Support Staff
• Co-ordinating the maintenance of the school site and ensuring the efficient operation of facilities, including health and safety, in liaison with the Site Manager

The ideal person will possess an unflappable nature and a ‘can do-will do’ attitude.

The school is looking for a highly organised and motivated person who is able to deal wit the daily pressures of a busy school office whilst retaining a calm manner and sense of humour. The ability to work closely and effectively with all staffing groups is a high priority.
