Totton College are offering a new and exciting job opportunity at its newly refurbished Waterside Centre in Dibden Purleiu. We are looking to recruit an articulate and organised individual to lead and manage the “My Pod” – independence & Social Development Centre due to open in September 2013.
My-Pod will offer opportunities for people from 16 years and above with learning difficulties and or disabilities to practice and develop their social and independence skills through centre and community based activities.
The successful candidate will be required to provide direct line management for the centre team whilst developing, managing and monitoring the implementation of the Business and Operation plans.
It is essential that the person appointed has a Level 4 qualification or above relating to care, education or the leadership of activities in addition to a minimum of 5 years’ experience, of which 3 years must include the management of staff. This role would suit an experienced person from a social care, education or activity leadership background
The Centre will be open 5 days a week 50 weeks of the year 8.00am – 6.00pm
