About the role:
This is an opportunity to be part of the management team in a newly formed service of Communications, Strategy and Policy. As the Improvement and Insight Manager you will ensure that services are responsive to customer needs.
You will support service areas optimising the customer journey, using performance and user experience insight to identify improvements. Through flexible deployment of resources across your team, you will build business cases for change and deliver projects developing benefits for customers. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating delivery of the Corporate Strategic Plan by maintaining the performance management framework and leading the service planning process.
About you:
will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and have experience of managing or support change / service improvement in a large organisation. Knowledge of customer focused internet technologies and best practice is also required, as is an understanding of business process improvement methods. Contract management skills are also required.
Ideally you will have a track record of project delivery, experience of using different business improvement tools and the ability to motivate people around you. Working at pace and bringing a creative approach is essential, as well as possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You must also be willing to attend evening meetings when required.
