We are seeking an Implementation Manager (Senior / Associate Level – SIPP platform implementation projects) to join our SIPP Business Area and a growing team in our Cheltenham office.
The SIPP Business Area provides administration and trusteeship services to over 70,000 self-invested personal pension arrangements for members, both advised and non-advised. We hold over 1,300 commercial properties and are looking to grow in this area. Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder management on all levels, with primary focus on a great working relationship with our co-branded institutional clients (clients) during (and likely beyond) their SIPP platform implementation project
- Working closely with clients to understand their SIPP product objectives and ways of working then agree SIPP platform configurations that will best meet their needs
- Managing client and internal stakeholder expectations through regular project meetings, status reports and maintaining great relationships.
- Agreeing SIPP platform implementation objectives, plan, governance structure, roles & responsibilities and controls with clients
- Leading and motivating the joint client/BW implementation project team
- Identifying, managing and resolving project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate
- Responding to and resolving escalated client issues during or after the implementation project.
- Identifying potential material changes to project scope and managing these through a controlled change management process to ensure projects remain commercially viable
- May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or assist in developing proposals.
- Any other reasonable task as advised

Experience/Qualifications:
- Will learn an extensive knowledge of the product suite including functions and team processes.
- Excellent independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively prioritise, delegate, manage multiple tasks and maintain effectiveness within a rapidly changing environment
- The ability to identify areas for improvement
- A self-starter with demonstrated commercial acumen
- Ability to understand, influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels and work closely with them to shape and deliver quality solutions
- Ability to specify technical changes to technical/development teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including technical writing, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent leadership skills, able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues and clients and inspire individuals and teams to deliver high quality solutions and outcomes in a high pressure environment
- Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of change management concepts and Agile development methodologies
- A relevant degree or Project Management qualification, together with extensive experience of delivering multiple projects
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint.
- Experience of delivering large and complex projects in a highly regulated and demanding environment, preferably within financial services, is an advantage
