Human Resources Assistant-FMCG

We are actively recruiting for an experienced HR Assistant to join our client`s growing FMCG manufacturing business based within the West Bromwich area.

The role will play a key part in supporting the HR team & you will provide HR advice & guidance to the organisation, under guidance from the HR Business Partner on site. You will ensure that professional HR support, guidance & advice is given for employee relations, people development, resourcing & reward activities in line with group & functional policies & procedures; in order to enable the function to achieve its business objectives.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:
-Degree or equivalent preferred.
-Generalist HR experience covering all aspects of HR management – 2 years+.
-Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards &/or can demonstrate in depth understanding of best practice HR tools & strategies.
-A proven track record of success ideally gained in a fast-paced, cost conscious & customer-focused business environment.
-Experience to managing complex ER issues.
-Good relationship & rapport building skills with both internal & external contacts at any level.
-Have strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to communicate technical HR information clearly & concisely.
-Sound current knowledge of UK employment legislation regarding employment e.g. collective agreements, dismissal & discrimination.
You will need to demonstrate that you have experience in conducting 1st level Investigations/disciplinary.

Please note that there is occasionally weekend working required by my client.
Please note that you maybe required to travel by car, if possible to the other sites in the company, based within the West Midlands region.

Salary: up to £26,400plus excellent staff benefits.
