Telent HR Systems & MI Administrator, Warwick – Permanent
In these extraordinary times of the coronavirus outbreak Telent is continuing to Recruit. We provide services to customers which are integral to providing mission critical systems and infrastructure across the UK and Ireland and we need to continue to deliver those services.
To help limit the amount of face to face contact during the recruitment process, we will now do more online assessments and use Skype/Conf Calls for interviews wherever possible.
With current annual revenues in excess of £400M and 2,400 employees. We operate within various industry sectors including Rail, Traffic, Public Safety, Defence, Service Providers, Enterprise and Public Sector.
Role Profile:
The HR Systems & MI Administrator actively supports the operation of the business by providing an effective, efficient and professional HR system service. In addition, there is a requirement to provide, maintain and improve management information to both the HR team and the business as a whole in conjunction with the MI Analyst.
Working alongside the HRIS Team Lead, you will manage the implementation of regular system releases from iTrent and ensure impact assessments on all release notes are reviewed and tested prior to release to the live system.
The HR Systems & MI Administrator helps to provide a key HR Service to the business as a whole ensuring that high standards are adopted within areas of HR system functionality and processes.
Particular responsibilities are:
Be responsible for providing support to the HR Team and the business of HR Systems and HR Data management practices.
Act as technical expert and focal point for all system requirements and communication.
Responsibility for system queries and issues for all system users and act as a super user of the system and operate the schedule of regular system activities. You will also support others using the system e.g. designing and delivering training and producing user guides.
Manage system data change requests through to implementation in order to deliver an enhanced service to the HR department and the wider business.
Provide data to support bids.
Accountable for data integrity within the HR system.
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of employee data contained within the HR system via audits, liaison with business areas and other appropriate mechanisms and be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of data contained in the system and departmental security at all times.
Liaise with key stakeholders to deal with day to day matters and resolve discrepancies.
Managing identified HR process improvements and projects in an accurate, commercially aware and timely manner which drives continuous improvement within HR and the Company.

Applicants should have the ability to work autonomously as well as part as a team.
Applicants should have experience of:
Previous experience of maintaining HRIS systems, particularly iTrent.
Experience in HR Data cleansing exercises as well as import/export data procedures.
Experience in writing test scripts, coordinating/managing the testing process amongst testers, reporting on test outcomes as well as making sure the UAT phase is completed successfully.
Ability to work across all levels of the business.
Operations Skills – Qualifications:
Practical use of Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Advanced Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint.
Practical use of Visio (preferable).
Knowledge and experience of HR Management Software.
Analytical skills.
Use of Business Objects (preferable).
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
