HR Controller – Employee Relations

Nissan is one of the most innovative and exciting businesses in the North East and they have partnered with an equally exciting and innovative boutique recruiter in Exclusive Ltd to secure them an HR Controller to fulfil a 12 month fixed-term contract.

The role focuses on Employee Relations issues including disciplinary & grievance handling, performance and medical counselling and day to day advice on employment law and terms and conditions issues. You will also support your department on recruitment activities from specification, through to advertising, aptitude and assessment testing and interviewing.

The role will also give you an excellent opportunity to lead on key projects which could range from Graduate Recruitment, Manpower Planning, to flexible working requests.

Excellent employee relations experience is an absolute pre requisite for this position as is a degree qualification, CIPD qualification or studying towards any of these qualifications. SHL/Occupational testing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

We are flexible on the background that the individual will come from although someone from a very fast-paced, manufacturing, engineering or retail background would be preferred. Excellent communication and influencing skills are, of course, also vital.
