HR Consultant/ HR Generalist/ CIPD

I have an exciting opportunity for a HR Shared Service Consultant to join a leading IT Infrastructure Services provider on a Permanent basis. This position is based in the companies Head Office in Hatfield.

As the HR Consultant you will be responsible for providing a Nationwide HR consultancy service to deliver the HR Strategy throughout the business. You will be involved in project work alongside managing and leading on your own cases.

Responsibilities will include;
* Respond to calls and emails to the HR centre and manage case work nationally.
* Apply best practice on the company’s performance, development and reward strategies.
* Ensure legislation is captured in internal policies and procedures.
* Manage and support HR related projects.
* Management and provision of consultative coaching and advice on case work including disciplinary hearings, grievances, appeal hearings, redundancies and restructures.

Experience required for the role includes;
* CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
* Demonstrable experience in business partnering and operating as a HR professional in a fast paced challenging, commercial environment.
* Experience of managing complex and high-level casework.
* Experience of the strategic, commercial or internal political aspects of complex HR issues.
* Strong demonstrable knowledge of Employment Law.
* Multi-tier management influencing capability.
* Ability to adapt and lead change.
* Experience of working in a virtual team environment.
