HR Business Partner – Shared Service Centre
Location: Worcestershire (Hybrid working)

We are seeking a HR Business partner to work collaboratively with the leaders of the Shared Service Centre for a global retailer.
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective and consistent delivery of human resources services including business partnering, coaching, performance management programs, organisational effectiveness, and providing strategic HR guidance to our Client’s Shared Service Centre (SSC).
The HR Business Partner is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of the organisation’s human resource strategies within the shared service centre. This position will collaborate with the HR Leadership Team, recruiting partners, talent management, HR SSC members, and other HR Partners to deliver exceptional customer service to the business.
The role:
Provide leadership on HR related issues and provide solutions consistent with company policies/programs/procedures.
Timely and consistently respond to day-to-day requirements for reporting, analysis, compliance, performance management, investigations, and recruitment for the SSC
Report on key performance indicators such as turnover, internal job movement and compensation to make recommendations for improvement where needed
Responsible for reviewing all employment actions at the SSC: hiring, promotions, performance improvement, terminations, etc.
Responsible for conducting investigations and any necessary actions that results from the findings.
Partners with Talent Acquisition to support the recruiting efforts for the shared services department.
Facilitates performance management process with managers to develop bench strength such as succession planning, performance management, training, diversity, etc.
Serves as the HR subject matter expert to managers and employees and establishes HR as a credible and trustworthy resource.
Ensures HR is providing customer-oriented service to the business including talent management and organisational effectiveness, supports onboarding, employee relations, conflicts management, termination, etc.
Manages programs, policies, and procedures to support the organisational culture;
Fosters a positive, diverse and inclusive culture through education, communication, and initiatives
Works collaboratively with leaders at Head office to create a joined up service
Coaches managers and others to achieve maximum potential;
Facilitates performance management through coaching, systems and processes.
Develops and coordinates learning and development plans to transfer knowledge and provide career growth;
Conducts assessments to identify issues and partners with managers to implement solutions.
Responsible for organisational initiatives and implementing and driving change programmes
Gathers and reports HR metrics including key performance indicators to assess and improve HR service.
14. Participate in all other Human Resources activities with the Corporate HRD.
The person:
Degree educated, or equivalent, with additional HR professional qualifications
Supported a shared service centre or similar environment in a HRBP role
Strategic and operational HR experience supporting a multi-site matrix organisation
Relevant progressive work experience in human resources with a strong employee engagement and business partnering background.
Demonstrable partnering and collaboration with leadership experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; must be able to address business challenges and provide solutions.
Must be team oriented with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
Ability to identify, own, understand, supervise and delegate to ensure accurate completion under strict timelines with minimal guidance.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work and collaborate with employees and customers within and outside the SSC.

Experience providing HR support to senior stakeholders required
Demonstrated understanding of effective human resource management and support for business
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
Ability to execute tasks independently. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
Excellent organisation and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in an environment with large volumes of data and paperwork. Significant attention to detail required.
Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment.
