Salary: £19.51 per hour
Anderson Knight is working with a key client based in the Glasgow area to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Responsible for the reporting function of a particular business unit, you will work closely with the operations team and provide financial analysis.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will also be responsible for managing a small team of transactional staff. Our client is searching for a qualified accountant with strong communication skills who can meet tight deadlines.
The main responsibilities the Finance Business Partner position entails are:
* Provide line management to transactional staff
* Review of monthly management accounts for all companies within the assigned business unit
* Preparation of annual statutory reports
* Work with the operations team to produce annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
* Participation in external audit process
* Assisting senior management with ad hoc requests including project work
To be considered for the Finance Business Partner position you must possess the following:
* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)
* Strong communication skills
* A proactive approach to work
* The ability to solve complex problems
* An outgoing personality
* A driven/motivated individual
