Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year
HR Advisor
* Washington, Tyne & Wear
* £27,600 – £30,000 per annum
* January start – 12 months maternity cover
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturing business in their dynamic HR department. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional who can provide operational support and services throughout their contract.
This challenging role will be an excellent opportunity to make a significant and valued contribution to their North East site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing advice & guidance on all HR matters
* Complying with legal requirements
* Working confidentially always
* Achieving departmental targets; absence, turnover etc
* Handling; disciplinaries, grievances & performance
* Dealing with employee issues
* Maintaining professional relations
* Coordinating with occupational health services
* Keeping the immigration log up to date
* Assisting the HR Officer with training & development
* Organising youth work experience program
* Management of the new starter process
* Assisting other departments with projects
Key Skills:
* HR Qualification; CIPD, degree or equivalent
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent organisation skills
* IT proficient
