Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading global professional services organisation in the recruitment of an HR Administrator.
This is an entry level position based in Sheffield providing HR support to the London, Sheffield, Dublin, Frankfurt, Brussels and Paris offices.
You will be responsible for supporting the European HR Team with the smooth running of HR activities and ensuring compliance to all mandatory UK legal requirements.
Key duties include:
* Produce Employment Contracts and induction packs for new hires
* Manage new hire set ups including inductions timetables, meeting invites and IT request forms for European new starters.
* Conduct background screening checks for new hires in the UK and Ireland.
* Compile new hire induction bags and liaise with Marketing about supplies
* Upload employee paperwork onto online HRIS system (Workday)
* Proficiency with the firm’s HRIS system and run reports when required
* Manage probation reviews and generate paperwork for successful completion, or escalate unsuccessful or extended probations to the relevant HR manager for the European region.
* First line support for HR queries managed through the HR Support drop box
* Provide full support across the UK, Dublin and Frankfurt offices for the firms’ sickness and holiday online portal, including generating reports
* Complete HR paperwork for staff in relation to contract amendments (such as salary increase letters, promotion letters, manager change letters etc) as instructed
* Manage flexible working arrangement requests including preparing paperwork
* Provide employment reference letters for current and ex-employees for the UK and Ireland.
* Manage work experience candidates and the onboarding of successful candidates in the UK.
* Ensure online filing is kept up to date and paper files are scanned online.
* Prepare leavers letters and complete IT leaver request forms for European leavers.
* Send Exit Interview forms to leavers across Europe and chase missing forms where necessary
* Maintaining the time and attendance system, making changes and adjustments
* Managing and organising pension meetings
* Monitoring mandatory training of all employees
* Setting up webex and video conferences where appropriate
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* High attention to detail
* Able to act under instruction with limited supervision
* Demonstrates expert proficiency in word processing, Internet and email systems
* Develops strong working relationships with team members and gains their confidence through displaying professionalism and efficiency in all communications
* Relevant HR administration experience and/or HR related qualification
