Housing Benefits Officer

Salary: £21.6 – £28.8 per hour

Housing Benefits Officer – South East Local Authority – Remote working – £18-£24P/H

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority based in the South East of England who are looking to hire a housing benefits officer on a 6-month contract this role will be a remote role working from home.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in managing their own caseloads, you will make assessments on applications related to; Emergency Payments, Household Goods, Housing Benefit & Council Tax reduction.
Experience in processing of reported changes in circumstances affecting those claims.
Experience in providing written and face to face explanations of decisions and over payments where requested.
Experience handling assessments related to benefits
Experience working face to face with the public

Must be experienced in using Northgate/Academy

This is a Temporary role but could possibly become permanent
