A leading key national company that supplies hire of plant equipment is now expanding their team and looking for an enthusiastic Hire Desk Controller. This company offers a great opportunity for career advancement.
The ideal candidate will be self motivated with a flexible working attitude and good attention to detail to assist the team with all functions of providing a first class customer service to in house clients and external businesses.
Previous experience in the plant, hire or related industries working on hire systems would be very beneficial.
Responsibilities of Hire Desk Controller
Dealing with customer queries and orders in a professional manner via telephone and email
Use Hire software ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date.
Maintain and exceed depot targets
General administration duties
Supporting the assistant manager
Pro-actively promote the Company at all times
Develop a professional relationship with internal and external clients
Assist in converting enquires into orders
Planning transport routes
Requirements of The Hire Desk Controller
PC literate – MS Office, Email, Internet, MS Excel
Excellent communication skills with a clear telephone manner
Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritise tasks
A confident and flexible attitude
Good attention to detail
The ideal candidate will be located in either of the following areas; Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton, Rushden, Bedford and surrounding towns and villages.
