Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

A fantastic opportunity is available to train to become an HGV Vehicle Collection Driver and join this multi-national organisation based from one of the depot locations listed below.

Job Title: HGV Vehicle Collection Driver

Job-Type: Full-Time

Available Locations: Avonmouth, Sandy, Westbury, York, Newbury

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per annum depending upon licence and performance

Average: HGV2 £33,000 and HGV1 £40,000

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday; day shifts, with Saturdays as voluntary overtime.

Hours: 06:30 – 16:30

Nights out may be available if required increasing the opportunity to earn more money through increased productivity.

Description: Using a Multideck Rigid 6-8 Car Transporter (+ Spec Lift if holding an HGV Class1 licence) the successful candidates will collect insurance damaged and salvage cars and light vans from garages, body shops, businesses and residential addresses and deliver them to the company’s depot/s.

Nights out and overtime is voluntary.

This is a superb position for someone living within 45 minutes of the depot and who wants a good work / life balance with excellent earning potential.

Training: The company is known for providing an excellent service and developing their employees to a very high standard through a comprehensive 6-month training and transition period.

Skills & Experience: To be considered for the role you must be self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative and prepared to get your hands dirty as this can be a physical role. The company are especially interested speaking to candidates with at least 1 year’s commercial driving experience in an HGV2 vehicle or higher category. In addition the following key skills and experience are essential:

· Full HGV 2 Licence or higher (No more than 3 points on the licence)

· Digi Tacho

· Full DCPC

· Confident and personable when talking to customers

· Willing to work in all weather conditions

· OTE of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (Earnings are dependent upon licence category and productivity)
