Salary: £31,200 – £36,000 per year
Vacancy: HGV 2 Driver/Admin
Location: Rusper, West Sussex
Hours/shift pattern: Monday – Friday (Occasional weekend work)
Description:
We are looking for someone with passion for driving, as well as someone who isn’t afraid of hard work and manual labour.
Ideally someone with basic computer skills, good on the phone with adaptability to work in the office or on the road.
The first 3 months will essentially be out driving and performing manual labour, to learn the trade of the job
Duties:
* Going out on jobs with the team, completing removals
* Presenting the company image well when greeting clients
* Dealing with enquiries and bookings on the phone
* Driving a 7.5T – Class 2 vehicle
* Manual labour and lifting
* Using companies computer software
* Planning routes and quoting prices for removal jobs
* Booking small and large domestic jobs
* Ensuring the team adheres to health and safety policies, as well as Covid19 policies
* Driving for long periods of time, sometimes short journeys
* Conducting yourself professionally at all times
Requirements:
* HGV Class 2 license, (CPC, Tacho)
* Previous driving experience of large vehicles
* Clean UK Driving license
* Computer literate
* Excellent communication skills
* Good phone mannerisms
* Physically fit
* Well presented at all times
* Professional attitude
