HGV Transport Manager

Salary: £50,400 per year

Salary Details: c.£50,400depending on experience plus benefits

Wilson Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HGV and CPC qualified Transport Manager to work on a full time basis and permanent contract.
Salary c.£50,400’000 per year DOE plus benefits
The role:
• Monday to Friday office hours i.e. 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00 (40 hours per week, this is flexible)
• You will be responsible for the compliance and administration of the company’s current fleet of trucks c.40 vehicles and trailers. Example workers hours, truck MOT, truck service, truck maintenance etc.
• The current Transport Manager is looking to retire, he has been working for the company for several years
• There are Transport Planners who do all of the driver planning, therefore, no planning is required at all. This is solely compliance and administration, taking care of the fleet
The candidate:
• Will reside in Wellingborough or somewhere relatively local
• May have a valid UK driving licence
• Must have valid CPC Operators Licence
• Should be experienced and qualified as a Transport Manager within heavy goods vehicles
• Must be HGV knowledgeable and compliance focused
• Shall be a confident, mature, self-motivated, trustworthy and reliable individual
• Will be able to provide referee details from previous or current employers
• Should have excellent IT skills and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Shall have excellent record keeping abilities and be diligent in their work
• Might be an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver
