HGV Class 1 (Ce) Drivers

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers in Howden.

Our client is based in the Howden area and are looking for 9 x HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers, working for a family owned kitchen manufacturing company, all drivers will work as part of a 2 man team, delivering ready assembled kitchens & bedrooms to customer properties around the UK. This vacancy is on an on-going basis which will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
• HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
• Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

Main Responsibilities:
• Make sure you adhere to driving time & working time directive
• Deliver kitchens and bedrooms to customer properties and meet any requests to deliver to any room within the property
• Report any issues and/or damages immediately
• Excellent time keeping ensuring schedules are met
• Vehicles to be clean at all times
• Maintain a consistent and professional attitude at all times
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.

The client will require the successful candidates to be available to work regularly Monday to Saturday including Nights out on a rolling week shift pattern. £26,000 per year + overtime £23.50 Night out
