HGV Class 1 Drivers

Driving Plus have teamed up with one of the leading names in the logistics industry, as their preferred supplier of HGV drivers and require experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing assignment at their busy site in Normanton.

Upon completion of our client’s assessment, you will be rewarded with a fixed working week, ongoing assignment with a similar daily start times and excellent working conditions. Our client is a highly professional and service driven business, which deploys just-in-time production making it a cutting edge and highly efficient operation. The role includes all aspects of trunking, delivering and collection of products throughout the North parts of the UK. We are delighted to offer long working days, regular 5 out of 7 day working patterns and ad hoc / extra shifts to suit. This exciting opportunity requires only drivers of the highest calibre in terms of presentation, skills and experience.

The pay rates for Ltd Company drivers are as follows:

Monday and Friday Days – £13.8 per hour
Monday and Friday Nights – £12.50 per hour
Saturday – £15.75 per hour
Sunday – £16.75 per hour
Bank Holidays – £16.75 per hour

Only HGV category C+E drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required.
