Health and Social Care Quality Assurer

Our client is looking for a qualified Health and Social Care Quality Assurer for a field based role covering Hampshire and Dorset.

You must be a qualified Internal Verifier and hold a Verifying qualification e.g. IQA, V1 or D34 award. You must have experience of Verifying Health and Social Care qualifications. Work Based Learning experience and knowledge of Apprenticeships is essential.

You will be required to travel to a range of locations including learner and employer sites.

Purpose of role:

Quality assurance of assessment decisions of assigned Trainers/Assessors and to manage the quality of programme delivery, ensuring company and external agencies standards are maintained and the learning and assessment needs of candidates are met

To be responsible for:

-Development, maintenance and the updating of sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements, to support learner progress within required contractual profiles and minimum levels of performance
-Checking learners assigned to correct programmes, correct rules of combination are followed and certification requests are accurate and timely
-Provision of information to Regional Quality Manager and Operations on Trainer-Assessor performance, to include feedback on Trainer-Assessor gradings and learner cohort progression against agreed learning plans
-Coaching Trainers/Assessors to fulfil the key components of the training cycle from sign-up, initial assessment, compilation of learning plans/agreements, implementation of schemes of work, coaching, IAG and formative and summative assessment and to ensure all components are effectively delivered

-Excellent communication skills
-The ability to relate to staff at all levels
-The ability to encourage and motivate people

Essential:

-Assessment qualifications and quality assurance qualifications, or actively working towards level 4 quality assurance qualification, compatible with the requirements for the delivery and quality assurance of vocational qualifications

Desirable:

-Training and development qualifications at levels 3 or above
-Degree or Post graduation level 4 qualification in management/ HR/ organisational development

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday. Some flexibility may be required

Holidays: 25 days per annum + Bank Holidays

Salary: £27,600 – £31,200per annum (Dependant on skills, qualifications and experience)
