Head of Quality Assurance

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are currently recruiting for a Head of Quality Assurance in North Lincolnshire. Our client is a true leader in their field and has a reputation for quality and innovation. The business is a leading supplier of food products and we are looking to appoint a Head of QA to join the senior management team.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for managing and motivating the QA function team members. You will develop and implement the quality management strategy and plans for the department, including resources and system requirements. You will also be tasked with visiting suppliers and ensure their manufacturing processes comply with internal and external standards.

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

– Qualified to Degree/HND level in Food Science/Technology
– A proven technical background within the food industry and experience of working with the retailers
– Experience of leading large teams of staff and a solid understanding of HACCP principles
– Ability to influence at a senior level and operate with a strategic view
