Head of Finance

Salary: £78,000 – £96,000 per year

Highly successful and expanding company looking to recruit CIMA/ACA/ACCA Head of Finance for a role within an autonomous company division.
Head of Finance – About the Role
Excellent opportunity to undertake a busy challenging role within an exciting and dynamic market sector. Reporting to CEO the Divisional Head of Finance will be part of the Senior Management team and will act as Financial Business Partner on key Projects, Bids and Tenders.
Key duties of the Divisional Head of Finance will include:
* Producing year end statutory accounting and liaison with company auditors
* Completion of monthly management accounts in accordance with corporate deadlines
* Overseeing work of the Accounting Team within central finance
* Finance business partner to commercial & operations Directors
* Revenue forecasting & reporting
* Monthly cashflow forecasting
* Responsible for setting annual budgets and budget review meetings
* Driving improvements in finance & operational systems & procedures
* Attending monthly board meetings to discuss analysis & recommendations regarding company financial performance
* Providing financial support for key bids and tenders
* Variance analysis and reporting
* Producing monthly KPIs for management review
* Management of a small finance team
The successful Head of Finance will be:
You will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with a proven track record within finance.
Ideally applicants will have experience as a Head of Finance or Financial Controller within an SME or Divisional capacity.
In addition, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at executive level and challenge existing methods when appropriate.
