Head of Engineering: Principal Technician

We have a Tech team looking for you! A Tech team who wants to regain/cement their place as the best customer experience globally by putting the customer at the heart of everything they do and delivering Tech platforms the right way.
The Challenge
* Culture change – implementing “You build it you run it” culture, with coding principles such as Test-Driven Development at the heart of everything you create.
* Move from On-Prem monoliths to Serverless microservices#
* Implement Event-Driven / Domain Driven Architecture
* Build extra squads to enhance the in-house talent.
* Create CI / CD that is capable to deliver multiple times a day.
The Tech
* React.JS, NODE.JS AWS TypeScript
The Person
* Lead multiple squads and grown teams with the quality of the product in mind.
* Passed experience building out API’s
* Implemented culture change around coding standards/principles.
* Coached and mentored Tech leaders to help influence and develop their squads.
* Enhanced CI / CD to move towards multiple deployments a day.
* Happy to challenge the norm and implement and be the Tech influencer for strategy, culture & delivery.
* Experience of being an enabler between the business and the Tech team.

The Location: Remote – subsidised travel London
Salary: £120,000 – £144,000 + Pension, Medical, Life Assurance
