Salary: £72,000 – £96,000

Location: Yorkshire – office based 3 days per week

Our client is an industry leading consumer products company working in the UK, US and European market. They sell products through the major FMCG retailers covering 30 countries. They are looking for a Head of Category to develop their category strategy in alignment with their growth plans.

The role will involve leading the category strategy, developing opportunities to drive growth with EMEA retailers and distributors. Building relationships with account managers and retail partners, driving range reviews, ensuring a profitable product portfolio and being responsible for pricing positioning for categories.

We are looking for:

Strong knowledge of the European retail sector
Ability to build strong retail partner relationships
Category management experience working with grocery customers and distributors.
Leading multiple teams
Presenting to senior stakeholders
Experience of delivering recommendations from shopper research, category insight, data analysis
Excited by operating within a high change growth environment.
Entrepreneurial spirit and desire. ability to drive top-level strategy.
