7.5 Tonne Driver (Category C1) Permanent

We are currently recruiting for Permanent 7.5 Tonne Drivers (Category C1) for our client in Saltley, Birmingham.

Our client is an established Transport and Logistics company, who specialise in the automotive trade and who require 7.5 Tonne Drivers on a permanent basis to start immediately. The work will consist usually of 3-4 deliveries this could be automotive or general haulage. You must be flexible as the job can vary, you must also be prepared to travel nationwide in order to complete your deliveries ensuring your load is strapped and secured safely. No handball or heavy lifting necessary, however, you must be flexible as the job can vary and you may be required to do a night out.

Shifts usually consist of 10 hours with shift starts times typically between 0300am-0800am. You will be guaranteed 50 hours with overtime available on weekends paid at premium. Relevant experience is preferred but not a necessity, you will however need to be efficient, have a keen attitude with a desire to do well, good people skills and brilliant punctuality. Your commination skills need to be excellent as on particular jobs you may need to phone the customer when you arrive on site.
