Group Specifications Technologist

Our client is a chilled, frozen food manufacturer with a £250 million turnover.

An urgent requirement has arisen for a Group Specifications Technologist to be responsible for managing, completing and maintaining retailer specifications across the Group.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES –

1. To manage, complete and maintain retailer specifications across the Group, you will cover other specifications technologist when required to do so.

2. To work with the necessary departments to coordinate artwork and advert campaigns
ensuring it is correct to the specification and legal.

3. Support the specification function across the group via cross training activities and absence cover.

4. To keep up to date with customer policies and legal changes / amendments and advise the business on changes that are required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE –

• HNC/HND qualification.
• 1 years experience in the food industry.
• Retailer specs experience in a similar role preferred.
• Must have experience of Major Retailer
• Specifications systems.
• Food labelling / Food legislation training would be preferred.
• Hamilton Grant experience preferred.
