Due to growth, my client is seeking a Graduate Software Developer with VB, C# or C++ experience to join an existing team of around 5 developers based in the Gareshead area.

As part of your ongoing career development you will be nurtured and mentored by a more experienced developer. Interestingly, the organisation uses its own specialist coding language (Similar to VB & C) which means that training will be provided for the successful candidates.

You will be working as part of a project team to create the next generation of their cloud hosted ERP products which integrate either into client side or hosted web servers.

Our client is a mid-sized, leading Software as a Service company providing advanced solutions to Distributors, Merchants, Wholesaler and Retailers. The role reports in to the Development Team Leader and you will be tasked with assisting in building, supporting and modifying a series of
bespoke ERP solutions.

Because this organisation tailors the software to individual client requirements, the company works on numerous projects at any given time and as such is looking for candidates that have experience working on multiple simultaneous projects within different environments and platforms, although attitude and flexibility to adapt are more important.

Essential

Experience in C#, C++ or VB
BSc Computing or other numerate subject
Ability to learn quickly – including learning a new macro language

Desirable
Script language development experience Perl, Python, Bash, Tcl
Previous experience working with cloud hosted technologies

Remuneration:
Salary 21,000
+ Generous benefits package
